The Red Line, sometimes known as the Eldress Bay-Main Line, is a rapid transit line in Snoopy, run by the Transit Bureau of Snoopy as part of the Snoopy Metro. It is the second-busiest and second-most extensive line on the Metro system, with an average of 1,537 passengers boarding each weekday in 2019. The route has a total of 8 stations, from the Eldress Bay station in the north to Main station in Snoopy Island. As with the Metro's other lines, the Red Line runs 24/7 for as long as the server itself is online. A proposed extension would extend the Red Line west towards the future district of Wyverns.
Route[edit | edit source]
The northern terminus of the Red Line is the planned station of Eldress Bay. The metro then extends southeast towards Oldtown, before transitioning to a perfectly southbound route as it passes through Isla del Comienzo. The track then takes a sharp turn east, through Playa Dorada and the Rosella station.
As it approaches Snoopy's city centre, the Red Line makes another southeast turn, as it passes through Dinkle. It banks south again as it passes through Oldtown and the North/Temple station. Finally, the line goes underwater on its way to its southern terminus at Main St. on Snoopy Island.
Structure[edit | edit source]
The current Red Line route lies entirely underground, though planned extensions see some above-ground segments bridging the Sea of Dunwich.
The line's two outgoing and incoming tracks remain 2 meters apart throughout its entirety, except for a brief segment around de Vries station in which they come closer (to 1 meter apart). This shift was built in order to avoid water damage from a nearby pub's elevator.
