North/Temple (read as "North and Temple") is a Snoopy Metro station on the system's Red, Blue, and Green train lines. It is the Metro's first station, as well as its only transfer station. Each of its sub-stations features a singular, two-meter-wide island platform with tracks on either side. North/Temple is located at the intersection of North Avenue and Temple Street in the neighborhood of Oldtown. It opened on October 15, 2018.

History[edit | edit source]

North/Temple was established on October 15, 2018, as Snoopy Metro's first station. It is accessible through the underground level of the server-wide transport system's Snoopy station, a space which it shares with Icewell Boatways.

Line extensions[edit | edit source]

The segment of North/Temple that serves the Red Line was the first to be constructed and used, after its connection to La Playa's Rosella station. Shortly after this, the Blue and Green segments were excavated, each identical in design to the original Red Line segment.

Controversy[edit | edit source]

The North/Temple station has received numerous criticisms regarding its design, namely because of its difficulty of accessibility and inconspicuous placement within the Snoopy station as a whole. These details have been said to make transport around Snoopy difficult for tourists or residents unfamiliar with the metro system, especially considering how extensively the station is used. Snoopy's Transit Bureau has looked into adjusting the station or even moving it to improve its accessibility, though such an undertaking would be very difficult due to the density of Oldtown's existing underground infrastructure.
