Info
Office Dude of Snoopy

Preceded by Homer Simpson
Succeeded by Thijs van Pelt
Birth name Drew Brodeur Lofquist
Political affiliation Unaffiliated

Drew Brodeur Lofquist, often known as Quist, was the second Dude of Snoopy, succeeding the city's founder, Homer Simpson, as well as the only Dude to have been impeached.

Born in Peonyville, Lofquist and his family moved to Snoopy when he was 3 years old. A graduate of Strathclyde University, he met Simpson at a library meet-and-greet, with whom he developed a personal friendship and political career. Serving as Simpson's assistant for the later part of his dudic term, Lofquist eventually received Simpson's personal support to succeed him.

Lofquist was eventually elected as Dude, though his election was tainted by allegations of fraud. Nevertheless, he enjoyed reasonably high approval ratings throughout his first term. Shortly after re-election, though, Lofquist's administration was discovered to have embezzled upwards of &10,000, and his subsequent impeachment began a period of profound public distrust in Snoopy's municipal government.

Early life[edit | edit source]

Drew Brodeur Lofquist was born in Peonyville to Louis Brodeur, a French satirist, and Amelia Lofquist, an English grocer originally hailing from Tindorp. After public opinion in the town turned sour against his father, the Lofquists moved to Snoopy and settled in the then-remote North Quarter.

Dudacy[edit | edit source]

Lofquist was elected in a landslide, having attained the official support of Simpson, his largely well-liked predecessor. Lofquist's first term largely continued Simpson's policies, as exemplified through... uhh... I'll edit this part later. Something about him expanding the size of the executive branch.
